Prep? Do you want to know what a typical day
would
be like? Experience it for yourself by signing
up to be a VIP. What is a VIP? A VIP is a Visitor
In
Prep. The VIP program is designed to give eighth
grade students, interested in making the most
of their high school years, the opportunity
to
experience a day in Scranton Prep. You can sign
up to be a VIP at the Open House on Sunday,
October
17th, 2010. Once you have sign up you will receive
detailed information regarding your day at Prep.
You
will
be matched up with a Freshman Ambassador, who
shares similar interests and will accompany
your
Ambassador through their normal classes and activities.
Your Ambassador will personally contact you
to
confirm your day at Prep and make arrangement
to meet you when you arrive. If you are from
the
area of one of our three buses, you may be able
to ride our bus, answering some of your transportation
questions, and be met at the bus stop by your
Ambassador. Once at the school you will have
an
active day with your Ambassador. You’ll
attend classes, meet teachers and other students,
have the chance to ask questions about life at
Prep and make new friends. We do ask that you
bring a lunch or money and a book that you’re
currently reading. Don’t be surprise if
you get to participate during a class. Your
day
will conclude with a brief exit interview with
the President or Principal. They’ll be
happy to answer any questions you may still
have.
